Meet Scott Albert
Scott is a Venture Partner at Cofounders Capital and previously cofounded The Aurora Funds in 1994.
Previously, Scott served as the Chief Investment Officer of the North Carolina Technological Development Authority, Inc. (NCTDA), a state-funded entity dedicated to supporting technology-driven startups in North Carolina. In this role, he spearheaded new venture investments and meticulously monitored the performance of portfolio companies across the state. Prior to his tenure at NCTDA, Scott held pivotal positions at Criterion Venture Partners in Houston, Texas, where he served as a General Partner overseeing a $30 million capital pool, and with Golder, Thoma and Cressey in Chicago. Notably, he also took on the role of President at a venture-backed startup. Before diving into the realm of venture capital, Scott honed his skills as a consultant at Booz, Allen and Hamilton.
