Meet Leah Townsend
Leah Townsend is a member of the investment team at Cofounders Capital, where she focuses on sourcing early‑stage opportunities, supporting founders, and strengthening the firm’s presence across the Southeast startup ecosystem. She works closely with entrepreneurs on diligence, go‑to‑market validation, and operational execution, helping teams move from early traction to repeatable growth. Before joining Cofounders Capital, Leah served as CEO and President of Pulvinar Neuro, where she led the company through product development, commercialization efforts, and strategic partnerships. Her experience operating and scaling an early‑stage company shapes her founder‑first approach and deep commitment to supporting entrepreneurs.
Leah received a BS in Phychology and a PhD in Neuroscience from UNC Chapel Hill
